आफ्नो लोकप्रियतालाई अडिग बनाउदै, हल्ट अ्याट आइ.ओ.ई. ले  यस वर्ष पनि सहभागीहरूलाई १२ मंसिरका दिन प्रतिस्पर्धी आवाज दिएको थियो। तर, यदि दुर्भाग्यवश कोहीले उपस्थिती जनाउन नसक्नुभएको खण्डमा शीघ्रगामी कार्यक्रमको विस्तृत सर्वेक्षण गराइने छ।

हल्ट पुरस्कारमा भाग किन लिने? सर्वप्रथम यस प्रश्नलाई मध्यनजरमा राखेर कार्यक्रम अघि बढेको थियो।

द हल्ट प्राइज, एक मान्यता प्राप्त, वार्षिक र वर्ष-लामो प्रतियोगिता हो जसले खाद्य सुरक्षा, पानीको पहुँच, ऊर्जा र शिक्षा जस्ता विषयहरू वरपरको दबाबपूर्ण सामाजिक समस्या समाधान गर्न विश्वविद्यालय स्तरका विद्यार्थीहरूलाई प्रेरणा दिँदछ। यस्ता समस्याका समाधानका निम्ति विश्वविद्यालय स्तरका विद्यार्थीहरूलाई चुनौती दिँदछ र सहभागीहरूबाट विचार प्राप्त गर्दछ। ‘द हल्ट प्राइज’ एक राम्रो योग्य प्लेटफर्म हो किनभने विजेतालाई आफ्नो डिजाइनलाई वास्तविकतामा ल्याउन १ मिलियन डलरको साथ पुरस्कृत गरिन्छ।

गत सुक्रबार दिउसॊको दुई बजे, दर्ता तालिका सुरु हुनुसँगै लगभग १ घण्टाको समय अन्तरमा कैयौँ जिज्ञासु दर्शकले हल भरिपूर्ण थियो। कार्यक्रमका प्रस्तोताद्वारा पोर्डियममा उभिएर समारोह श्री गणेश गरियो।

पाहुनाको स्वागतका साथ अभिमुखीकरण प्रारम्भ गरियो । नेपालका सबैभन्दा कान्छो फेसन डिजाइनर र अत्यन्तै प्रचलित उद्यमी श्री वरदान देवकोटा, साथै इलेक्ट्रोनिक्स र कम्प्युटर इन्जिनियरिङ विभाग, आई.ओ.ई.का प्राध्यापक डा. सुवर्ण शाक्य र डा. बसन्त जोशी उपस्थित हुनुहुन्थ्यो। उहाँहरुको मात्र उपस्थितिले पनि पूरै कोठालाई उज्ज्वल बनाएको थियो ।

डा. शाक्यको प्रेरक र मनमोहक अतिथि भाषण पछि, हल्ट पुरस्कार, कसरी भाग लिने र यस वर्षको थिम, “फेसन पुन: डिजाइन” बारे अन्तर्दृष्टि प्रदान गरियो।त्यसैगरी एन.एम.बि. क्यापिटल लिमिटेडका साथसाथै धेरै सहयोगी प्रायोजकहरुको उपस्थितिलाई कार्यक्रमले स्वागत गरेको थियो।सबै सहभागीहरू र अन्य १० कलेजका क्याम्पस प्रतिनिधिहरूको उत्साहले कोठा भरिएको थियो।

सबै सहभागीहरू र अन्य १० कलेजका क्याम्पस प्रतिनिधिहरूको उत्साहले कोठा भरिएको थियो।पाहुनाहरूको प्रेरणादायी भाषणका साथ यस वर्षको विषयवस्तु “फेसन रिडिजाइनिङ” बारे छलफल भएको थियो। सहभागीहरूका प्रश्नहरूको जवाफ दिइयो, कोही पनि निराश फर्किएनन्।

हलमा बारम्बार अस्तव्यस्तता देखाइएको प्रश्न थियो ‘फेसन भनेको के हो?’ र ‘प्रकृति हेरचाहसँग यसलाई कसरी दिगो बनाउने?’फेसन भनेको विशेष समय र स्थानमा र एक विशेष सन्दर्भमा लुगा, जुत्ता, जीवनशैली, सामान, मेकअप, कपाल, र शरीरको मुद्राको आत्म-अभिव्यक्ति र स्वायत्तताको रूप हो। हामीले फेसनलाई थप दिगो बनाउन गर्न सक्ने केही कुराहरू छन्। पहिलो, मानिसहरूले कम लुगाहरू किन्न सक्छन् र उनीहरूलाई चाहिने मात्र किन्न सक्छन्। तिनीहरू नयाँको सट्टा सेकेन्ड-ह्यान्ड वा पुरानो कपडाहरू किन्न सक्छन्। अझ, तिनीहरू जैविक कपास वा बाँस जस्ता दिगो सामग्रीबाट बनेका कपडाहरू खरिद गर्न छनौट गर्न सक्छन्।यदि हामी सबैले कपडा किन्ने तरिकामा थप दिगो हुन प्रयास गर्यौं भने, हामीले वातावरणमा ठूलो परिवर्तन ल्याउन सक्छौं।

घटनाहरूको वर्णन जारी राख्दै, हामी बिर्सन नसक्ने,  “किन हल्ट पुरस्कार ?” जस्ता सहभागीहरूका प्रश्नहरूको जवाफ क्याम्पस निर्देशकले दिएका थिए र दिगो विकास लक्ष्यहरू व्याख्या गरिएको थियो। कार्यशाला र मार्गदर्शन सुत्रहरू बारे विवरणहरू प्रदान गरियो।यससँगै इभेन्ट म्यानेजर आकृति शर्माले पनि हल्ट प्राइज २०२१/२२ को रिक्याप गरिन् र कार्यक्रमको कार्यप्रवाहको बारेमा जानकारी दिईन।

श्री देवकोटाले पहिलो पाइला बनाउने बारे आफ्नो वक्तृत्वले उपस्थितहरूलाई प्रेरित गरे। उनको भनाई “फेसन त्यो हो जुन तपाईले तपाईँबाट बनाउनुहुन्छ” दर्शकले निकै रुचाएका छन् । प्रेरणा र चुनौतीहरू पार गर्ने यस्तै कथा सुश्री प्रकृति ओस्तीले साझा गरेकी थिइन् जसले भर्खरैको कोभिड लकडाउन पछि फेसन व्यवसाय सुरु गरेर सफल भइन्। जानीजानी वा नजानी सबै फेसनमा रहेको उनले बताइन् ।

Measureme.ai आई.ओ.ई., पुल्चोक क्याम्पसमा हल्ट पुरस्कारका अघिल्लो विजेताहरूको उपाख्यानहरू र उनीहरूको न्यूयोर्कको यात्रा कार्यक्रमलाई निरन्तरता दिँदै साझा गरियो। अन्तमा डा. जोशीको उत्तेजक मन्तव्यपछि औपचारिक कार्यक्रमको समापन भयो ।

यस सालका शीर्षक प्रायोजक, मस्त कला, साधारण प्रायोजक, टास्केड र डिजिटल ओसन, भेन्यु प्रायोजक इन्ट्रान्स क्याफे,सिल्वर प्रायोजक NMBCL र प्रस्तोता प्रायोजक प्रोटोजोआहोस्टको सहयोगले यो कार्यक्रम अझ रोचक बनेको छ।अन्ततः साँझमा, विगतको आयोजक समिति, उदार प्रायोजक र अतिथिहरुलाई केही प्रमाण पत्र सहित मायाको चिनो सहित धन्यवाद ज्ञापन गरिएको थियो ।अभिमुखीकरण कार्यक्रमको विशाल उत्सव र अन्त्यको लागि सहभागीहरूले प्रस्तुत गरेका नृत्यले सुनमा सुगन्ध थप्ने काम गरेको थियो । आयोजकहरूको अथक प्रयास देखेर दर्शक निकै मोहित थिए।

यस कार्यक्रमलाई हल्ट नेपाल समुदायबाट ठूलो सहयोग प्राप्त भएको थियो जसरी कार्यक्रम सुचारु रूपमा चलिरहेको देख्न सकिन्छ। समग्रमा, आई.ओ.ई., पुल्चोक क्याम्पसमा हल्ट पुरस्कारको अभिमुखीकरण निस्सन्देह सफल प्रकरण थियो।
