Canadian Study Center (CSC) is a registered educational consultancy that suggests the student
the ideal program and institution in Canada based on their academic assessment, career goals,
english language proficiency test result and financial resources. The consultancy also oversees

Hult Prize at Kathmandu University (HPKU) is an on campus round of the student-led
international competition of Hult Prize, which is an idea pitching platform. University students
from all over the world can take part by forming teams of 3-5 people, and compete at four
different levels for the final prize for the winner of USD 1 Million. This annual competition aims
to empower students, reward their business skills, and turn ideas into realities. The goal of the
Hult Prize is to foster social entrepreneurship among the university level students in the

the globe. HPKU has targeted to create an impact on the Kathmandu University family through
different pre-events such as Impact Up, workshops for students, business simulations, a platform
to compete and present their ideas in the Semi Finale and the grand Finale of the on campus
round of the Hult Prize. The theme for the Hult Prize for the year 2023/2024 is “Unlimited” as
long as it aligns with at least one of the SDGs.
Hult Prize at Kathmandu University has partnered with Canadian Study Center to conduct this on
campus round of Hult Prize in KU. CSC has provided full support to HPKU through financial,
moral and business standpoints. CSC being a business entity, has been enthusiastic to help
students to develop impactful ideas and participate in the international arena.
Hult prize aims to address social issues while incorporating sustainable goals. Students form
teams to devise sustainable business plans. Participants undergo mentoring and attend
workshops. A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between Sibendra Subedi, the
managing director of Canadian Study Centre, and the Campus director of Hult prize at KU,
Sasha Sunuwar. The agreement set between CSC and Hult prize ensures that the pre-events and
the main event are executed with the utmost perfection. Teams from both parties will coordinate together for feedback and suggestions. With constant evaluation and provision of resources by
both parties, the Hult prize at KU is set to be conducted smoothly.
